Want to make a difference in the life of a child? Then Camp Whitcomb/Mason is the place for you! Camp Whitcomb/Mason is a coed, day and overnight camp for ages 7 - 13 located on Lake Keesus in Hartland, Wisconsin.
The summer camp season begins in early June and ends in mid to late August dependong on the position offered. The employment period includes working the weekend of the Annual Camp Whitcomb/Mason Triathlon fundraiser.
All staff is required to be a minimum of 18 years of age, have solid experience working with children and possess strong communication skills. We are seeking applicants with a willingness to learn and work hard as a team to create a great summer experience for children.
Benefits
We offer a range of great benefits including: meals, lodging and trainings in Red Cross First Aid and CPR. Summer salaries range between $200 and $400/week, depending upon camp/work experience, education, certifications and specific job responsibilities. Many positions are sponsored by Americorps and include Education Awards to assist employees in paying for school.
Summer Schedule
Camp runs Monday through Friday.
Day Camp staff work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and
Overnight Camp staff live, eat and sleep at camp Sunday evening-Friday afternoon.

Complete and submit the employment application form to Camp Whitcomb/Mason. Applications must be submitted between December 1, 2010-Feburary 28, 2011 for consideration for the Summer 2011. Applications received after Feburary 28, 2011 will be considered until positions are filled. Ask three individuals, not related to you or Camp Whitcomb/Mason staff, to complete a Reference Questionnaire. One reference must be a previous supervisor. Applicants will not be interviewed until all references are received. |
